For nearly two decades, Thomas Morgan has maintained a consistent presence in the NYC Jazz scene and has grown to be one of the most in-demand jazz bassists today. Over the years Thomas has worked with Jazz greats such as Lee Konitz, Paul Motian, and most recently with acclaimed guitarist Bill Frisell.
MILL PRESENTS: D. Treut’s GATES
"Call me 'Gates'," is what Gene Perla said to D.Treut after they smacked the last note of their first gig. Since, they've backed Dave Liebman, Nicole Glover, Ralph Lalama, Peter Apfelbaum, Jon Cowherd, jaimie branch, Jon Goldberger, Jon Elbaz, and Davis Whitfield. D.Treut introduced Preminger and Meister to make 'GATES' performing a book of music based on Perla's oeuvre.
Rebekah Heller
Called "an impressive solo bassoonist" by The New Yorker, Rebekah Heller made her solo debut with the New York Philharmonic in September 2018, and has been a soloist with the Seattle Symphony, the Nagoya Philharmonic, and the New World Symphony.
As a solo artist, Heller is known for creating immersive environments — using custom lights, commissioned clothing, and playing from memory — to facilitate electric connections with her audiences.

Drummer/composer John Hollenbeck is a composer of music uncategorizable beyond the fact of being always identifiably his: a conceptualist able to translate the traditions of jazz and new music into a fresh, eclectic, forward-looking language of his own invention, a drummer and percussionist possessed of a playful versatility and a virtuosic wit, and a musical thinker allergic to repetition, forever seeking to surprise himself and his audiences. Hollenbeck formed GEORGE during the Covid pandemic, bringing together three musicians that he’d long admired – saxophonist/flutist Anna Webber and keyboardists/vocalists Chiquita Magic and Sarah Rossy.
