For nearly two decades, Thomas Morgan has maintained a consistent presence in the NYC Jazz scene and has grown to be one of the most in-demand jazz bassists today. Over the years Thomas has worked with Jazz greats such as Lee Konitz, Paul Motian, and most recently with acclaimed guitarist Bill Frisell.
Thomas Morgan will be performing music from his debut album, Around You Is A Forest. On the album Morgan plays bass and WOODS, a virtual instrument he designed using SuperCollider software which emulates pan-global string instruments. He will be joined by Emi Makabe on vocals and shamisen.
